Photo By: Kevin Morgan The steepest part of Soldier Summit is between Helper and the crossover at Colton. Frequently, mid-train swing helpers are cutout at Colton as the train can make it up to the top of Soldier Summit along at that point. Such is the case here, as five Utah Railways helpers have been cut out of the coal train at Colton and are returing toward Martin (near Helper) on Main 1.
