BNSF Track Geometry Train on the FRS
News Story Posted By Kevin (Click Name To Email)
Wednesday, October 10, 2007 - Today BNSF ran a track geometry train north on the Front Range Subdivision. The not-so-long BNSF train came north through Boulder around 10:45am. The train was led by an H1 SD40-2 and consisted of only two cars. The second car was BNSFs "Rio Grande River", fully equipped with stadium seating! The train passed through Boulder right around 10:45am on its way north. It met a southbound at Longs Peak and I didn't hear it any further north then that. Here are five shots of the train heading north. I got a few shots of it passing Valmont and a few more on the north side of town.
