With the tight curves of Kingman Canyon and the town of Kingman nearly behind it, this intermodal train is accelerating back up to 70 MPH on Main 1. You can see the speed sign, tilted at a 45 angle, indicating a reduction in speed for passenger trains (45 MPH) and freight trains (40 MPH) coming up in a mile.
