It is a beautiful afternoon as UP's Boy Scouts of America unit leads the eastbound MRONY out of Rocky. Traffic on the Moffat has been nothing short of dismal lately. One manifest each way per day, a coal train or two, an occasional oil train, Amtrak, and a pair of BNSF manifests. The Moffat has been seeing as few as 8 trains in a 24 hour period lately!
