If the westbound Zephyr has managed to show up here at the east switch of Palisade about 10 minutes earlier, the entire train (down to the rails) would have been bathed in glorious sunlight. Unfortunately, it is just late enough that the sun has started to dip behind the western horizon.

Wow! Wonderful shot; westbound Zephyr in the evening at Palisade, with a UP on the point. You must be living right. Thanks.  
 
I am also disappointed with the decrease in traffic on the Moffat. Hope your oil-business increase opinion comes true. UP has put so many dollars into the Moffat, that they must be going to push more traffic over it.
