Just west of Byers, the KP crosses over West Bijou Creek on a very nice (and old) truss bridge. Here, the twice-weekly Limon Local passes over the bridge, moving at track speed (49 MPH). Nice power, no!?

The entire bridge was a wooden trestle until the June 1965 floods that hit central & eastern Colorado.
