They say you shouldn't mess with perfection and many railfans out there think BNSF got it right the first time! The first official paint scheme for BNSF after the 1995 merger was the Heritage scheme (now called the Heritage 1, or H1 scheme). You know, in a lot of ways, I think these railfans might just know what they are talking about!
