Ever wondered what happened to the Rio Grande (Standard Gauge) caboose 01511? You can find here, now privately owned, in tow in Silverton. The caboose has been joined with an ATSF caboos on one end.

Well, actually, it's not a Rio Grande caboose. I believe it's an ATSF caboose in disguise. Both of these cars were located in north Durango until recently. The REAL D&RGW 01511 is a wide-vision caboose...

Actually, that is a ATSF caboose painted to look like a D&RGW one. I'm not sure what happened to the original 01511, but that isn't it.
