To avoid having BNSF's Front Range Sub from crossing UP's four main tracks using diamonds, a grade separation exists in Cheyenne. Here, a UP intermodal train crosses underneath a BNSF MDENLAU train!

What else could a railfan want? Two trains passing over one another in a clear, unobstructed view of both, on busy lines. The only other place I know of where this happens is Grand Island, Nebraska, on the "other end" of the UP triple-track main in eastern Nebraska.
