After nearly a year of construction (start to finish), UP completed Main 2 between C&S Junction and Arvada on May 8, 2012. Here, a few days after opening, a westbound UP coal empty on Main 2 meets the eastbound Beer Run near Sheridan Blvd. The Beer Run will run down to C&S Junction and cross from the Golden Sub to Main 2 and then to Main 3 on in to the yard. Next to the Golden Sub is the new Arvada Siding. Further to the left is Main 2 (with the coal empty on it) and Main 1 beyond that.
