The Moffat has not received too much "major" maintenance since the SP/UP merger…until now. A ballast train working in the Moffat Tunnel heading east is tied down on the siding at Tolland. A cold front is starting to seep over the divide and the clouds are starting to gather. In the mean time, UP 6590 heads up an eastbound coal train (with unpatched SP 257) crossing a very full South Boulder Creek just east of Tolland.
