Summary Information Railroad Union Pacific Overview A second main track will be added between Broadway (DS 900) and Belt Junction on the Belt mainline in Denver. Purpose With the completion of the Belt Flyover, the two bypass tracks funnel down into a single main track at Broadway. Adding a second main track would allow coal trains to move more quickly between Broadway and Belt Junction, as well as give locals more time for switching without delaying trains.
